This Is Why You Want To Travel To Thailand

Why travel to Thailand? Well, there’s many good reasons. And one reason in particular that I notice over and over in my travels around Southern Thailand is what I call the ‘beautiful friendliness’ of the Thai people. It sure is an amazing gift. Of course, not everyone is warm and welcoming, but generally speaking, I’m [...]

Nature Girl Photography Thailand

I can’t really generalize and say every Thai person is friendly.
But, it sure does feel like that sometimes.
It rubs off on you.
It’s definitely something in the water.
Hippy blissful? Maybe. Certainly warm and welcoming…
They’ve grown up smiling. It’s contagious.
Almost as contagious as blogging non stop for four hours…

Thinking retirement Thailand?

Would you consider retirement Thailand?
You’d have to seriously consider all aspects to it…
Thailand has a lot of good things going for it.
Some great resorts, a relaxed lifestyle, healthy food.
Charming people.
Low cost of living.
Can be very hot (tropical) and stormy.
The question really is…
Where would you live?
Go beach, or go mountain.
Or go inland…
Food for thought…
.

Real life Thai lifestyle (part 2)

Man, the time moves fast when you’re having fun…
You’ve taken a few breaths and it’s time to post again.
That’s the beauty of it I guess…
I’m starting to think about… some sort of sponsorship…
just an idea… for Thai people I know…
They could really do with some practical ideas to make
money… and online seems like the way [...]

And why live in Thailand? (part 1)

Let’s face it. It’s a noisy country. Incredibly laid back. No one seems particularly bothered by anything in particular…
I’d like to talk about world events with the Thai people I meet, but hardly ever do so. That might be me. Or just this culture.
And indeed it is loud. The lifestyle is loud. The people can [...]

How to meet Thai girls, quickly!

I’ve been spending a good deal of time with this great Thai girl who’s quite fond of saying the word “hot.” (In Thai, of course).
Now, I think she’s talking about herself being hot. As in, right now “I need to relax because I’m feeling hot.” Or, maybe the weather’s hot.
Whatever it is, it’s hot.
It’s funny. [...]

What happened to the retirement Thailand party?
Do they know that some of us use YouTube for our business?
Yes, this is what happens when you try to [...]

Can You Learn Thai Easily?

I’ve been asking nearly every Thai girl I’ve met to teach me Thai.
Now, truth be told, perhaps I don’t really need to be taught Thai in so far as I already know it quite well. But there’s always words I want to learn, and always learning going on.

But I’ve noticed something. They kind of never [...]

Three Wheeled Thai Airline

Ok, observe this little 3 wheeled monster in green. This is what we call a tuk tuk. Also known as a Samlor. They remind me of the style of a 2nd WW aeroplane mixed with a locomotive, and throw a helicopter in as well. Why not?
Can you appreciate the wonders of Thailand culture, Thailand lifestyle..?

Is It Safe To Go Out?

Here in southern Thailand things are different.
Just like every new country you travel to, right…?

I was chancing out on a small journey and I came across these…
…superb, unusually modified, handmade choppers…
Radical eh.

This is the type of thing you find hidden away down here in Trang, southern Thailand. I myself wouldn’t choose this type of transport, [...]
